# Export charts to PowerPoint

AddMaple can export charts and tables to PowerPoint. This guide documents steps already covered in the help center. It does not describe features beyond those sources.

For brand colors on exports, see [Agency branding for client exports](/help/guides/client-branding-templates).

## What can be exported

From existing help:

- **PowerPoint export supports charts/tables only** (not all item types)
- Exported slides follow your project's **color settings** when you use project-wide presets (see [Colors](/help/guides/colors))

## Option 1: Download from My Collection

1. Open **My Collection**
2. Click items to select them (preview thumbnails show when available)
3. In the actions bar at the bottom, click **Download as PowerPoint**

See [Using My Collection](/help/guides/insights/collection-guide).

You can also add selected items to a dashboard from the same actions bar (**Add to Dashboard**).

## Option 2: Download from the Selection menu

From the Selection menu, use **Download as PowerPoint** to export selected charts/tables.

See [Share and Export Insights](/help/guides/insights/share-export).

## Brand colors on exports

If you set project-wide colors in **Settings → Project Settings**, PowerPoint exports follow the chosen preset.

Steps from the colors guide:

1. From the **Explore Dashboard**, open **More menu → Settings → Project Settings**
2. Under **Colors**, select a preset (or define a custom palette)
3. Click **Save**

All charts in the project update (except those with locked column-specific colors). PowerPoint exports will also follow the chosen preset.

See [How to apply color presets](/help/guides/colors).

## Weighted data

If you apply a weight column, PowerPoint presentations include weighted results.

See [Weighting](/help/guides/weighting).

## Deck plus Insight Hub

Many teams export a PowerPoint for the live presentation and publish an Insight Hub for ongoing access. See [What is an Insight Hub?](/help/guides/insight-hub).
