Agency branding for client exports
Use this guide when you need charts, dashboards, and exports to look on-brand for client deliverables. Steps come from existing Colors, Dashboard, and Collection help.
AddMaple does not yet have a dedicated help article for importing a custom PowerPoint .pptx template file. This guide covers what the help center documents today: project color presets, column-specific colors, and dashboard logo.
Project-wide brand colors
Project-wide colors update the default palette across the entire project. All chart types use your chosen colors, and PowerPoint exports follow the preset.
When to use it: You want brand colors consistently across every chart and data type.
How to set it:
- From the Explore Dashboard, open More menu → Settings → Project Settings
- Under Colors, select a preset or define your own custom palette
- Click Save (bottom right)
See How to apply color presets for screenshots of Project Settings.
You can also create a custom palette in the same screen (see the full Colors guide).
Lock colors for specific segments
For stable segment colors across charts (for example Segment A always pink, Segment B always blue), assign column-specific colors via the legend.
See Managing individual column colors and Colors.
Logo on dashboards (Insight Hubs)
When you build a Story Dashboard, add your logo from the header to brand your dashboard.
See Create a dashboard.
You can also style individual items with the Style Editor (palette icon). See Dashboard styles.
Exports that respect branding
After colors are set:
- Charts in published hubs use your palette
- Download as PowerPoint from My Collection or the Selection menu exports charts/tables with your project colors
See Export charts to PowerPoint and Using My Collection.
