Google Drive
Use the Google Drive integration to start a project from a file stored in Drive, without downloading it to your computer first.
How to connect
1. Start a new project
Sign in to AddMaple and open the New Project page.
2. Click "Google Drive" in the cloud services section
Under Connect cloud service, click Google Drive.
3. Authorize access (first time only)
If prompted, choose the Google account that has the file and authorize AddMaple to access Drive so it can open the file picker.
4. Pick a file
Select the file you want to analyze (for example a CSV or Excel file). AddMaple will import it and create a project automatically.
5. Start analyzing
Once the import finishes, AddMaple will open your new project and automatically:
- Detect column types (text, numbers, categories, dates)
- Generate readable column names
- Create initial charts and summaries
Re-authorizing Google Drive
If your Google Drive access token expires, AddMaple will show a message asking you to re-authorize. Click Re-authorize Google Drive and follow the prompt, then the project will reload.
