AI Models

For our thematic coding feature you can choose between 3 different models when applying your codes.

  • Standard: Great for tagging general themes and sub themes from text data (e.g., “Analyzing GP notes to identify common themes in reasons for patient visits.”)
  • Nuanced: Ideal for detecting sentiment and identifying specific topics in text. Use this model to extract all excerpts with foods mentioned in restaurant reviews to analyze food extracts by sentiment to reveal the most/least praised foods (e.g., “I loved the mussels, but duck ragu was bland”).
  • Complex: An advanced reasoning model that can differentiate between an artist and an event, or classify complex emotions.

Note all models support multi-language analysis (80 + languages).

When applying codes, you will have the option to choose your model. AddMaple will estimate the credits needed based on the amount of text you are analysing.
