Code of Conduct and Ethics

At AddMaple we expect everyone working with or on behalf of the company to act with integrity. This code explains our standards.

Scope

  • This Code applies to AddMaple employees, directors, contractors, and anyone representing the company.

Compliance with laws

  • We comply with applicable laws and regulations in the jurisdictions where we operate.
  • We expect team members to act in line with both the letter and the spirit of the law.

Honest and ethical business practices

  • We conduct our business honestly and fairly.
  • We do not engage in fraud, deception, or other unethical conduct.
  • We expect team members to act with integrity in all professional activities.
  • We expect our products and services to be represented truthfully.
  • We avoid actions that could damage trust with customers, partners, or the public.

Anti-bribery and corruption

  • We do not tolerate bribery or corruption in any form.
  • No employee, contractor, or representative may offer, give, request, or accept any payment, gift, or benefit intended to improperly influence a business decision.

Conflicts of interest

  • Team members should avoid situations where personal interests could conflict with the interests of AddMaple or its customers.
  • Any potential conflict of interest should be disclosed to company leadership.

Respectful workplace

  • We are committed to maintaining a respectful, inclusive, and professional work environment.
  • We do not tolerate harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior based on characteristics such as race, nationality, gender, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or age.

Confidentiality and data protection

  • Team members must protect confidential information belonging to AddMaple, our customers, and our partners.
  • Information should only be used for legitimate business purposes and must not be disclosed without proper authorization.

Responsible use of company resources

  • Company systems, tools, and resources must be used responsibly and primarily for legitimate business purposes.

Reporting concerns

  • Anyone working with AddMaple who becomes aware of potential violations of this Code should report the issue to company leadership.
  • We prohibit retaliation against anyone who raises concerns in good faith.

Responsibility and review

  • All team members are expected to follow this Code of Conduct.
  • Leadership is responsible for maintaining and reviewing this policy periodically as the company grows.
